Why this matters
The buying moment you're missing
A remodel is not an emergency purchase. Nobody picks a builder off the first name they see — they research for weeks, ask around, read, and narrow it down to two or three companies before a single phone rings. That entire stretch now starts with a question typed into an AI assistant, and by the time a homeowner calls you, they have already decided you are worth calling. If your company never came up in that research, you were never in the running, and you will never know the job existed.
This one is personal. Peak Growth's founder spent more than thirty years as a residential builder before any of this — running crews, chasing materials, quoting jobs, and losing work to companies that were not better builders, just easier to find. We are not an agency that read a report about your trade. We have stood in the mud on a Monday morning with a schedule falling apart, and we know which leads a builder can afford to lose and which ones hurt.
The work itself is straightforward. Most builder and remodeler websites are a gallery, a phone number, and not much an AI assistant can actually read: no structured data, nothing that answers the questions a homeowner is really asking, and pages too slow to survive a phone on site. Fixing that is not a rebrand and usually not a rebuild — it is making the site legible to the thing doing the recommending.
Two ways forward
Have a website? Upgrade it. Don't? We build one.
If you have a site,we upgrade it in place: the same look, rebuilt underneath so an AI assistant can read it, verify who you are, and name you. We run the same audit when we're done and you watch the score on a call with us.
If you don't,we build one, and every site we build answers the phone when you can't. A homeowner lands on it at nine at night, asks a question, gets a real answer, books the appointment right there, and you get a text with the details. You don't stop what you're doing to take the call. It's all relayed, and it's part of every build, not an add-on.
Either way it starts with the free audit above, and you own the site. If you ever leave, you take it with you.
Questions
Builders & Remodelers AI-Search Audit FAQ
Do homeowners really use AI assistants to find a builder?
For big-ticket, high-research work like a remodel or a custom build, it is becoming one of the first stops. A homeowner describes the project in plain language and gets back a short list of companies with reasons attached — which is far closer to how people actually choose a builder than a page of blue links ever was.
Does this cover remodelers, or only new construction?
Both, plus framing, carpentry, foundations, decks and additions. The underlying AI-search fundamentals do not change by trade — what changes is the language on the page, and that gets written for the work you actually do.
My work comes from referrals. Why would I need this?
Referrals are still the best leads in this business and nothing here replaces them. But a referred homeowner almost always looks you up before they call, and increasingly they look you up by asking an AI assistant. If nothing comes back, or what comes back is thin, a warm referral can cool off before it ever reaches your phone.
I have a website already. Do I need a new one?
Often not. Plenty of builder sites can be upgraded in place — same brand, same photos, rebuilt underneath so an AI assistant can read them. If your current site is too old or too locked-down to build on, we will tell you that straight rather than sell you an upgrade that cannot work.
What does the free Builders & Remodelers audit actually check?
Whether AI assistants can read your site's structure, whether you have schema markup and an llms.txt file, how fast your pages load on a phone, and whether your content gives an assistant anything worth quoting to a homeowner. You see the results before we ever speak.
What does it cost?
Every project is scoped differently and we do not publish flat pricing. You will get a real number on your call, after the free audit has already shown you what your site actually needs.
